The year 2010 ended with a bang, leaving a mark in history of the eye-popping explosions from the movies that were released in 3D.This year, 2011 will surely be the grounds for film outfits of producing 3D movies, movie sequels, indie films and  most especially movie remakes!

The local film industry here in the Philippines, this 2011 will surely get revived with the line up of 2011 movies (which I have yet to blog about). Most if not all of the movies could be in 3D in fact one Filipino horror movie remake is going to be in 3D, as for Kimmy Dora 3 (the supposedly part 2 of Kimmy Dora) might just turn into Kimmy Dora 3D and I’m also predicting for a pinoy superhero movie to be in 3D.

And yes, sequels there will be sequels for the comedy movies Kimmy Dora, Here Comes the Bride, Petrang Kabayo, Working Girls (despite it being aweful) Quija and the superhero movie I have yet unleashed! (exclusive yan! lol).

Remakes, as you might have already read my blog article about Filipino movie remakes will dominate the local scene.Movies like Temptation Island,Kumander Gringa,Mahinhin VS Mahinhin movie, two movie remakes by Vice Ganda and the filipino horror movie remake I told you was going to be in 3D.

Indie films will also become part of 2011 but indie movies will have like this “mainstream” feel on it.So far there’s actually 3 indie movies that I think will make some noise in the lime light.First is Kimmy Dora 3 (part 2), second is “Zombadings: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington” and “Corazon“.

2011 is also the year where directors such as Jerrold Tarog and Chris Martinez will shine! Newbie celebrities like Matteo Guidicelli, Andie Eigenmann, Julian Montes, Carla Abellana, Kathryn Bernardo and Albie Casiño and child stars Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat will be launched in a film this year.No animated movie for this year but I believe Thaumatrope, Ambient Films and Star Cinema is planning to produce one again! perhaps the sequel of Rpg Metanoia or a pinoy “fable” story.

As for originals, we have Star Cinema’s Bulong, Huling Sayaw, Corazon; Viva’s Who’s that Girl movie and Sa Ngalang Ng Pag-ibig, GMA Films “Andong Agimat” and Regal Film’s My Valentine Girls. So, what do you have to say?

You may consider to as a tentative list of 2011 pinoy movies! Kindly Share!
