First here! Star Cinema has officially unveiled their lineup of movies for 2011. They kicked off with a horror film “Bulong“, seconded by the box office hit movie “Catch Me, I’m in Love” (with Viva Films), followed by Robin Padilla’s “TUM: My Pledge of Love“; Then came the fantasy comedy film which marked as the comeback movie of Vic Sotto to Star Cinema in “Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak!” (with Octo Arts Films, M-Zet Films, and APT Entertainment)”.Another box office movie, “In the Name of Love” which break history after ranking 15 on list of top 20 highest-grossing films worldwide this first quarter.Star Cinema became also part in the distribution of Nestle’s Kasambuhay Habambuhay.And recently released the heartwarming film which made people cry on theaters in “Forever and a Day“.

We’re still half a year away before 2011 ends, but Star Cinema has prepared 20 more movies slated on the next 6 months of 2011 up to the first quarter of 2012.

Most of these movies are still being penned down by writers, so there might be changes in the titles in the future.Also, some of these might just be shelved for we don’t know what issues,controversies or unfortunate events might happen in the future.But for sure, there will be more movies from Star Cinema. Unfortunately, no follow up Animated movie has been unveiled after last year’s RPG Metanoia but we’ll keep you posted because Star Cinema might be working again with Thaumatrope and Ambient Media for another animated feature film!
