Thailand’s ultimate heartthrob, Mario Maurer has captivated the hearts of Filipinos after his movie “A Crazy Little Thing Called Love” premiered in the national television through Abs-cbn’s Kapamilya Sunday Blockbuster. Mario Maurer will be coming to the Philippines next week for a  local clothing brand endorsement as announced months ago by PR Publicity Asia.

Mario’s arrival in the Philippines is fast-approaching that it became the most awaited and much talked about arrival of an Asian celebrity in the Philippines. And all of a sudden plans have gotten BIGGER because the PR Firm recently announced that Mario Maurer will also do a tv project as well as a Movie Project with Star Cinema.PR Publicity Asia Director Ms. Joyce Ramirez further announced that she will co-produce these upcoming projects.

With these Mario Maurer projects in the works, the next big question is Who will be Mario Maurer’s next leading lady?? Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu, Erich Gonzales and Angel Locsin were named as leading lady prospects for Mario Maurer’s upcoming film. So to come up with the best candidate, Ms. Ramirez started a sort of “Survey/Challenge/Agreement” on her twitter account. The agreement was whoever trends first would be considered as Mario’s leading lady on his first Philippine film project.

A few hours ago Erich Gonzales trended in Twitter because she became a guest of the hit Sunday comedy tv show “Gandang Gabi Vice”. Ms. Ramirez then tweeted. .

“THE AGREEMENT was Whoever TRENDS first – so irregardless HOW or WHY they TREND basta once we see THAT name[..]”

“CONGRATULATIONS Erich Gonzales FANS at naka-chamba kayo with the Vice Ganda guesting lol Kim Chiu comes in at close second! Nice SURVEY”

Now, what does the survey do? To be honest I do not know. But if there is anything that I am certain with is that – Erich Gonzales is likely to be paired up with Mario Maurer. But chemistry-wise Kim Chiu is going to be perfect! On a separate survey done by Mario Maurer’s Filipino fans, Kim Chiu is leading. So the producers might as well consider it.

There’s no official statement from Star Cinema yet but I will try to ask for a confirmation about this project so stay tuned!

But if you’re going to ask me about the possibility of this project to happen – frankly speaking I’m quite doubtful about Mario Maurer’s Philippine film and TV projects.
