Regal Entertainment’s Aswang movie grossed a whooping P23.17 million ranking second to Praybeyt Benjamin in the local box office race from Nov. 2 to Nov.6, 2011 (on its first week of screening). This only proves that Star Cinema isn’t the only movie outfit in the Philippines and that they too, Regal, can earn at least P20-M in one week. In fact, Aswang has outdone Star Cinema’s Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi and Way Back Home earnings on their first 5 day sales P16-M and P18-M, respectively according to Box Office Mojo Philippines.

Point taken? Okay so much for the comparison. I have personally watched Aswang and you may want to read my Aswang movie review! 😀
